THE 12 Days of Christmas is one of the most well-known festive songs.

It celebrates the 12 days following Christmas Day to January 5, the day before Epiphany, and increasingly grand gifts are given every day.

In our county-wide version of the song, we found seven little dancers preparing to perform Swan Lake. They are from Centre Pointe School of Dancing, based in Gloucester's Alfred Street.

Farming is as strong as ever in the county, as these eight maids proved. Gloucestershire has 15 Young Farmers' Clubs, with members aged from 10 to 26.

Eight female members from the county met at Sacksfield Farm in Redmarley to be pictured for a festive photograph showing a traditional approach to milking.
