YOU won't regret anything by seeing Eve Loiseau's powerful tribute to the French icon and singer Edith Piaf, at the Everyman Theatre.
Hearts were melted by this international star in the 50s, so be prepared for the same treatment from Eve as she dons on her trademark black dress.
Piaf had a unique, emotionally charged voice which resonated her harsh upbringing on the streets of Paris and she became most famous for the song Je Ne Regrette Rien in the 60s.
Piaf-The-Songs started life in the Everyman studio, as Eve brought this world renowned superstar back to life. She has been on tour since May 2011 and will delight us with her homecoming and the celebration of her 100th show on Friday, November 16.
Eve, who is half French, skilfully uses Piaf's own introductions to the songs which are sung in French and English, to keep the magic of the French poetry alive.
Tickets cost £19 from 01242 572573.
