CREATIVE children will be beaming with pride when they pop into the new Whole Foods Market store and see their designs up on the wall.
Twenty-two children from across the county created a winning design of a plate depicting their favourite dish of local food, to mark the store's opening in Cheltenham last week.
The designs were made up into real porcelain plates and now hang in pride of place for all to see.
Rosie Broom, 10, of Richard Pate School, said: "It was really exciting to take part in the competition as we had to think through all that we knew about local food, and then create our favourite meal as a design on a plate."
More than 500 children from 11 schools originally took part in the competition.
Schools included Charlton Kings Junior, Greatfield Park Primary, The King's School, St Edward's Junior and Gloucester Road Primary.
