LET your heart soar with songs by legendary French songstress Edith Piaf in a tribute show at Stroud's Sub Rooms tonight.

Cheltenham-based singer Eve Loiseau's powerful tribute Piaf: The Songs includes renditions of her most famous songs Je Ne Regrette Rien, La Vie En Rose and Autumn Leaves

Hearts were melted by this international star back in her day, so be prepared for the same treatment from Eve as she dons that trademark black dress.

Piaf: The Songs started life in Cheltenham's Everyman studio in November last year, as Eve brought this world renowned superstar back to life. She brought the house down and the critics loved her.

Eve, who is half French, skilfully uses Piaf's own introductions to the songs which are sung in French and English, to keep the magic of the French poetry alive.

Tickets cost £15 from 01453 760900. The play starts at 2.30pm.
