Former Shrewsbury Town and Oxford United midfielder Asa Hall has joined Cheltenham Town a on a two-year contract.
The 27-year-old becomes boss Mark Yates' second new signing of the summer, following right-back Lee Vaughan from Kidderminster Harriers.
Sandwell-born Hall started his career in the youth set-up at Wolves before signing a professional deal at Birmingham City.
After a spell at Luton Town, where he won the Football League Trophy in 2008/09, he joined Oxford in 2010, spending two years at the Kassam Stadium before a two-year spell with Shrewsbury.
He was part of the Shrews' squad that suffered relegation from League One last season.
But he spent time out on loan at former club Oxford, including an appearance against Cheltenham in a 2-2 draw in September 2013.
He also played against the Robins for Aldershot during a loan spell a season earlier.
"I am really pleased to be here," Hall said. "I've played at Cheltenham before and I have always admired the manager. I know a few players who have played under him and it was a great opportunity, so I really wanted to join.
"Hopefully I can bring some experience and some goals as well. I know a few of the lads so hopefully we can bring the squad together and have a real go at it."
