STROUD theatre group Red Dog bring their exciting adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's classic The Emperor and the Nightingale to the stage of OPENhouse Arts.
This is the magical tale of a spoilt emperor, enamoured with the song of the little nightingale Lin Lin.
As the sweet song of the bird becomes the emperor's elixir of life, can Lin Lin save him?
Taking place in the OPENhouse circular theatre, this production promises an interactive experience for children aged three and above – perfect when the batteries run out on the Christmas toys.
It runs from today until Sunday at 4.15pm at the Stroud cafe. Tickets cost £8 on 01453 840021.
